Filip Bezzecchi, sur une moto Ducati, a remporté le Grand Prix de France pour la deuxième fois cette saison. Il a battu le vainqueur du sprint de samedi, l'Espagnol Jorge Martín, de 4,256 secondes. La troisième place est revenue au Français Johann Zarco, ce qui a réjoui les fans locaux. Grâce à ce résultat, Bezzecchi est revenu à un point du leader du championnat et de son compatriote, Francesco Bagnaia.
